Join us on Friday 8th May at 7pm for an evening of Speyside Scotch whisky with The GlenAllachie Distillery, one of Scotland’s most pioneering distilleries. Under the guidance of Billy Walker, the distillery combines bold flavours, rich fruit, and innovative cask management to create whiskies that balance tradition with a modern, forward-thinking style.
During the tasting, we will sample a flight of six drams, showcasing the distillery’s distinctive approach to maturation. Expect a range of expressions highlighting different cask types, age statements and flavour profiles, from classic Speyside sweetness to deeper, more complex and spiced influences. Hand-picked bites from The Thin White Duke kitchen will also be served to complement the drams.
The evening will be hosted by Blair Sterrick, UK Sales Manager for GlenAllachie, who will guide guests through each dram, sharing insight into the distillery’s history, production methods and the influence of wood management under the direction of Billy Walker.
The tasting will take place at The Thin White Duke in Carlisle, Cumbria and is the perfect setting to sample the range of drams. The GlenAllachie has received global recognition for its quality, including being awarded World’s Best Single Malt in both 2021 and more recently in 2025 for its 12 year old bottling.
